The acquired four criterias are accessibility and circulation, function, design, and maintenance. This research was conducted by field observations and compared with the results of questionnaires the writer got from tourists. This region has the subjectmatters of the accessibility of vehicles and the expansion of the stores. It gives some big impacts for the region. In addition, there are contradictions of the things seen in the region from architectural views with the space experiences that it gave to the visitors. Pedestrian mall at Jalan Legian and Kuta Beach has a lot of problems, but visitors still enjoy it. They come to this area because the location is close to the beach and the lively nightlife. Good physical elements are not enough to provide a good quality pedestrian mall. But also emphasizes on the activities available in the city and experience the space given by the architectural design of the pedestrian mall.
