Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan yang memiliki banyak budaya dari setiap daerahnya. Budaya yang dimiliki setiap daerah menjadi simbol yang dapat mewakili suatu pulau dan menjadi ciri khas dari pulau tersebut. Budaya yang dimiliki setiap daerah juga mempengaruhi kehidupan masyarakat lokal. Salah satunya budaya Tumpeng yang mempengaruhi masyarkat Jawa, maupun nasional. Tetapi dibalik semua masalah budaya yang terdapat di negara Indonesia, budaya Tumpeng menjadi masalah yang besar karena terpengaruh oleh budaya barat, yang menjadikan budaya Tumpeng dilakukan dan dilestarikan dengan cara yang salah. Tumpeng yang seharusnya dikeruk, menajdi dipotong puncaknya, akibat dari pengaruh budaya barat yang selalu memotong kue di acara khusus. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini berbentuk workshop, yang akan dilakukan secara daring melalui Premiere Youtube. Hasil evaluasi dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang sudah dilakukan, menggunakan link kuisioner yang akan dikirimkan ke peserta melalui kolom komentar Youtube. Link kuisioner akann dikirimkan di akhir video PkM, untuk memastikan bahwa para pserta telah menonton video PkM sampai selesai. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang akan dilakukan, dapat membenarkan pengetahuan masyarakat luas akan budaya Jawa Tumpeng dan Ngepung Tumpeng yang benar. Selain itu, video PkM ini bisa menjadi kesempatan untuk bangsa Indonesia, memperkenalkan budaya Indonesia ke negara lain./Indonesia is an archipelagic state with lots of cultures from each region. The culture from every region has become a symbol that represents an island which then become a character of that island. The culture of each region also affects the life of the local society. One of those many cultures is the culture of Tumpeng that affects the people either in Java Island or nationally. But behind all those culture problems in Indonesia, the culture of Tumpeng has become a huge problem due to the influences of western culture, resulting in the culture of Tumpeng that is done and preserved in the wrong way. Tumpeng that is supposed to be scrapped, is now cut, the reason is the western culture’s influence of cutting cake in special occasions. This community service is in the form of workshop that will be done online via Youtube Premiere. The evaluation result of the community service will be done through a link of questionnaire that will be published in the comment section for the participants to fill. The link of questionnaire will be published at the end of the community service video, to ensure that all of the participants have watched the video until the end. The community service that will be done may correct the society’s knowledge of the Javanese culture of Tumpeng and the correct way to Ngepung Tumpeng. Moreover, this community service video can be a chance for Indonesia to introduce its culture to other countries
