Abstract

Profesi yang berkaitan dengan pelayanan di bidang jasa lebih mudah menimbulkan stres kerja karena karakteristik dari pekerjaannya. PT. XYZ, perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang Training Provider dan Mystery Shopping Agency saat ini sedang mengalami lack of manpower di divisi training dan e-learning yang menyebabkan mereka menjadi stres karena pekerjaan mereka, sehingga mengalami beberapa dampak dari stres kerja seperti daya tahan tubuh menurun, flu, kurang tidur, dan cemas. Dengan demikian, peneliti ingin mengetahui dan memahami gambaran stres kerja pada karyawan divisi training PT. XYZ. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah karyawan divisi training dan Managing Director. Penelitian dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa karyawan divisi training mengalami beberapa dimensi stres kerja, yaitu tenggat waktu yang tidak stabil, jumlah pekerjaan yang banyak, dan kesulitan dalam memenuhi tugas dan tanggung jawab. Namun tidak mengalami beberapa dimensi stres kerja lainnya, yaitu konflik peran dan ambiguitas peran.
