Abstract

Strut-and-Tie models adalah sebuah metoda yang secara khusus dikembangkan untuk menghitung dan mendesain sebuah balok dengan daerah terganggu atau yang kerap kali kita kenal dengan istilah discontinuity regions (D-regions) yang memiliki bentuk berbeda dari balok pada umumnya dimana gaya yang mengalir pada balok tersebut tidak dapat diuraikan secara jelas, seperti pada kondisi dimana gaya yang cukup besar diaplikasikan pada sebuah balok atau sebuah dinding penahan dengan bukaan (openings). Penggunaan Strut-and-Tie models dalam mendesain sebuah balok dengan bukaan pada daerah momen maksimum akan diuraikan dan dijelaskan lebih lanjut dengan sebuah eksperimen yang meliputi uji lentur pada balok tersebut. Desain detail pengangkuran tulangan utama lentur di daerah D menjadi fokus utama dari eksperimen ini. / Strut-and-Tie models is a very effective tool for designing discontinuity regions (D-regions) of structures with irregular geometry where the flow of forces is not well known, like at points where high forces are applied to a beam, for shear walls with openings or for connections of members. The use of strut-and-tie models in designing concrete beams with openings will be explored and explained furthermore through experiments consisting flexural testing. The experiment is explained in the presentation with some practical examples for D-regions frequently occurring in concrete structures. The design concept is fully based on strut-and-tie models in order to equally treat B- and Dregions of concrete structures. The main focus of this experiment includes the detailing of anchoring design in D-regions.
