Abstract

Omega-3 merupakan lemak makanan yang penting. Omega-3 adalah lemak tak jenuh ganda, sejenis lemak yang tidak dapat dibuat oleh tubuh. Karena tubuh manusia tidak dapat menghasilkan omega-3, lemak ini disebut sebagai “lemak esensial” yang berarti harus didapatkan dari makanan. WHO merekomendasikan makan setidaknya dua porsi ikan berminyak per minggu. Salah satu ikan yang mengandung minyak omega-3 yang tinggi adalah ikan tuna. Ikan tuna memiliki kandungan vitamin dan protein yang lengkap serta omega-3 yang tinggi. Ikan tuna memiliki harga yang terjangkau dengan nutrisi yang tinggi sehingga mudah didapatkan. Permintaan ikan tuna cenderung tinggi dikarenakan banyaknya peminat. Oleh karena itu, tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat membuat program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dengan mengajarkan siswa SMK mengenai Makanan Dengan Kandungan Omega-3 yang Tinggi dan menyajikan kepada peserta variasi produk Makanan Dengan Kandungan Omega-3 yang Tinggi dan dapat dibuat di rumah. Diharapkan dengan adanya kegiatan ini dapat bermanfaat bagi peserta dan dapat dikembangkan./Omega-3 is an important dietary fat. Omega-3s are polyunsaturated fats, a type of fat that the body cannot make. Since the human body cannot produce omega-3s, they are called “essential fats,” which means they must be obtained from food. The WHO recommends eating at least two servings of oily fish per week. One of the fish that is high in omega-3 oil is tuna. Tuna fish has a complete content of vitamins and protein and high omega-3. Tuna fish has an affordable price with high nutrition so it's easy to get. The demand for tuna tends to be high due to the large number of enthusiasts. Therefore, the Community Service team created a Community Service program by teaching Vocational School students about Foods with High Omega-3 Content and serving participants a variety of Food products with High Omega-3 Content and can be made at home. It is hoped that this activity can be useful for participants and can be developed.
