Abstract

Lately, measurement of whether a job is ideal or not is not solely determined by the amount of salary and benefit earned. It has started a shift by considering other factors such as the need of a work life balance, job autonomy, discretion in decision making, sense of belongingness towards the company and job satisfaction. Thus, this research aims to analyze those navigating factors. This research is a quantitative research using questionnaires, with 146 correspondents, as the instrument. Data collection is done by handing list of questions towards the respondents. This study uses Lisrel analysis tool. Results have shown that job autonomy does not affect work life balance, whilst support from superior has significant influence towards work life balance.Work life balance does not impact the sense of belongingness towards the company. On the other hand, sense of belongingness towards the company affects job satisfaction. Additionally, job autonomy does not influence the superior which supports work life balance. / Ukuran sebuah pekerjaan apakah ideal atau tidak, belakangan ini tidak hanya diukur dari besarnya gaji dan tunjangan yang diperoleh akan tetapi mulai juga bergeser dengan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor lainnya, faktor-faktor tersebut antara lain adanya keinginan keseimbangan antara hidup dan bekerja (work life balance), otonomi dalam pekerjaan, keleluasaan dalam pengambilan keputusan, kebanggaan terhadap perusahaan dan kepuasan kerja. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi hal tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumennya dan jumlah responden 146 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara memberikan daftar pertanyaan kepada responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat analisis Lisrel. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa job autonomy tidak mempengaruhi work life balance sedangkan dukungan atasan mempunyai dampak yang signifikan terhadap work life balance . Kondisi Work life balance tidak berpengaruh terhadap kebanggaan terhadap perusahaan sedangkan kebanggaan terhadap perusahaan mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja. Sedangkan otonomi dalam pekerjaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap atasan yang memberikan dukungan terhadap keseimbangan antara pekerjaan dan keluarga.
