Abstract

The success of a school lays heavily on the performance of the teachers. Teachers‟ task performance is related to many factors, including innovative behavior of teachers, school organizational climate and teacher engagement. This desertation aims to determine how innovative behavior of teachers, the school organizational climate and teachers‟ engagement effect the performance of the teachers.The research subjects were 115 teachers in XYZ School in Jakarta who teach early childhood to Grade 12. The design used in this study was path analysis with a quantitative approach. The results showed that innovative behaviour give positive influenceto teacher‟s task performance, organizational climate influenced positively to teacher„s task performance, and teacher engagement also has positive influence to teacher‟s task performance. / Kesuksesan sebuah sekolah sangat dipengaruhi oleh task performance dari para guru yang mengajar. Task performance guru behubungan dengan banyak faktor di antaranya perilaku inovatif guru, iklim organisasi sekolah dan teacher engagement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku inovatif guru, iklim organisasi sekolah dan teacher engagement terhadap task performance guru. Adapun subjek penelitian adalah 115 guru yang mengajar di tingkat pendidikan anak usia dini hingga sekolah menengah atas di sebuah sekolah satuan pendidikan kerjasama (SPK) XYZ di Jakarta. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa perilaku inovatif mempengaruhi task performance guru secara positif, iklim organisasi mempengaruhi task performance guru secara positif, dan teacher engagement juga mempengaruhi task performance guru secara positif.
