Abstract

Pornography has been around for so long and inherent in public life, George Scot through a book published in 1940 entitled "A history of prostitution from antiquity to the present day", stated that the findings of the expression of pornography is already there in the caves of ancient people in the era of hunting, diliteratur kebuyaan fashioned in every civilization. In India there are Kamasutra, in England; Fany Hill, in Japan; Shunga and in America there are Stag Films which became the forerunner of pornographic films in the modern era. The Indonesian government to protect and limit the expansion of pornography have pornography laws. But the reality of this expression can still be found in social media, Instagram. This study uses kualititaf approach with case study method, data collection is done by wawanara and literature study of tenth account to upload Instagram studied. The results showed the diversity of the category of pornography on Instagram account, among others, Arts, Entertainment and Business and by law are not all of these accounts including pornography is prohibited. Reporting on Instagram mechanism needs to be done and when it can troubling report on the Communication and Information Technology. The Government of Indonesia declared a need to work closely with the community. / Pornografi telah ada begitu lama dan melekat dalam kehidupan masyarakat, George Scot melalui buku yang terbit pada 1940 berjudul “A history of prostitution from antiquity to the present day”, menyatakan bahwa temuan ekspresi pornografi sudah ada di gua-gua orang kuno pada jaman berburu, diliteratur kuno di setiap peradaban kebuyaan. Di India terdapat kamasutra, di Inggris; Fany Hill, di Jepang; Shunga dan di Amerika terdapat Stag Film yang menjadi cikal bakal film-film porno di era modern. Pemerintah Indonesia guna melindungi dan membatasi perkembangan pornografi memiliki undang-undang pornografi. Tetapi kenyatannya ekspresi ini masih dapat di temukan di sosial media, Instagram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualititaf dengan metode penelitian studi kasus, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawanara dan studi kepustakaan terhadap unggahan dari kesepuluh akun Instagram yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya keberagaman katagori akun pornografi di Instagram antara lain Seni, Hiburan dan Bisnis dan menurut undang-undang tidak semua dari akun tersebut termasuk pornografi yang dilarang. Pelaporan pada mekanisme Instagram perlu dilakukan dan bila sudah meresahkan dapat melapor pada Kominfo. Pihak Pemerintah Indonesia menyatakan perlu adanya kerja sama yang baik dengan masyarakat.
