Abstract
Penggunaan efek gitar memberikan suara yang lebih bervariasi dan memberi kesan tersendiri bagi yang memainkannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan modifikasi pada efek gitar listrik dan diharapkan dapat menciptakan alternatif efek pedal gitar dengan menggunakan Arduino. Dari penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, didapatkan hasil pembacaan sensor berubah mengikuti perubahan orientasi gerakan sensor tersebut. Dari hasil pengamatan didapatkan bahwa perubahan orientasi sensor sepanjang sumbu X dari 0 sampai 45 derajat dapat diubah ke dalam nilai diskrit MIDI dari 0 sampai 127 untuk dapat mengontrol VST. Setelah, dilakukan analisis sinyal gitar pada nada A menggunakan oscilloscope dan spectrum analyzer. Pada analisis ini dilakukan pengukuran gain. Saat kondisi sinyal gitar tanpa efek, gain yang didapatkan sebesar -47 dB. Saat efek diaktifkan, gain yang didapatkan sebesar -36 dB. Pada analisis ini terjadi peningkatan gain oleh efek gitar./The use of guitar effects provides more varied sound and gives a distinct impression to those who play it. The purpose of this research is to make modifications to the electric guitar effect and hope that it can create an alternative to the guitar pedal effect by using Arduino. From the research that has been done, it is found that the sensor readings change according to the changes in the orientation of the sensor movement. From the observations it was found that the change in sensor orientation along the X-axis ranging from 0 to 45 degrees can be converted into discrete MIDI values ranging from 0 to 127 to be able to control the VST. After that, an analysis of the A tone guitar signal was carried out using an oscilloscope and a spectrum analyzer. In this analysis, the gain is measured. When the guitar signal conditions is without any effect, the gain obtained is -47 dB. When the effect is activated, the gain obtained is -36 dB. In the analysis there is an increase in gain by the guitar effect.
