Abstract

Pada saat ini terdapat suatu pandemi yang dapat mengakibatkan kematian yaitu Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19). Gejala yang dapat dialami saat terkena penyakit Covid-19 salah satunya adalah demam di mana suhu tubuh manusia dapat mengalami kenaikan suhu di atas 37.7 derajat Celcius karena adanya reaksi sistem imunitas tubuh saat adanya infeksi virus yang masuk ke dalam tubuh atau adanya aktivitas olahraga yang cukup intensif. Penurunan suhu tubuh dapat dilakukan dari luar tubuh dengan melakukan proses pendinginan. Alat terbagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu Peltier Headband dan Control Box. Peltier Headband merupakan sebuah alat di mana terdapat modul Peltier yang bekerja untuk mendinginkan sisi yang ditempeli dengan kain yang meliputi salah satu bagian tubuh sehingga bagian yang diliputi akan terjadi perpindahan panas ke elemen Peltier. Control Box merupakan alat kontrol yang berfungsi sebagai tampilan dan masukan sistem pendingin yang dapat diatur cara pendinginannya dengan moda set fix cooling, maximum cooling dan set cooling temp. Moda set fix cooling merupakan moda operasi yang melakukan proses pendinginan dengan menstabilkan suhu kepala pada set-point yang ditentukan dari input pengguna. Maximum cooling merupakan moda pendinginan yang menyalakan sistem pendinginan secara terus menerus. Set cooling temp merupakan moda pendinginan yang dengan mengumpulkan rata-rata suhu kepala lalu akan mulai melakukan proses pendinginan dengan menstabilkan pada set-point yang diketahui dari penurunan suhu yang diinginkan yang dibaca dari input pengguna. Penulis berhasil melakukan penelitian menggunakan moda operasi yang dibuat dengan memberi set-point pada suhu 34 derajat Celcius dapat menurunkan suhu awal 35.25 derajat Celcius sampai dengan set-point dalam waktu 11.86 detik pada moda set fix cooling dan dapat menurunkan suhu awal 34.15 derajat Celcius sampai dengan 27.36 derajat Celcius dalam waktu 290.99 detik pada moda maximum cooling dan dengan set-point yang didapat 32.93 derajat Celcius dapat menurunkan suhu rata-rata dahi sebesar 35.93 derajat Celcius mencapai set-point dalam waktu 28.25 detik pada moda set cooling temp. / At this time there is a pandemic that can cause death, namely Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19). One of symptoms that can be experienced when exposed to Covid-19 disease is a fever where the temperature can rise more than 37.7 degree Celcius because due to the reaction of the body's immune system when there is a virus that enters the body or doing sports that have high intensity. The device is divided into two parts, such as Peltier Headband and Control Box. Peltier Headband is a device in which there is a Peltier module that works to cool one of its sides which is attached to a cloth that covers one part of the body which will undergo heat transfer to the Peltier element. Control Box is a control device which can display and provide input of cooling system that can stabilize the temperature by using set fix cooling, maximum cooling, and set cooling temp modes. Set fix cooling mode performs the cooling process which is then stabilized at the set point given the input by the user. Maximum cooling is a cooling mode that turns on the cooling system continuously. Set cooling temp system measures the temperature of the head first before starting the cooling process which will be stabilized at the set-point which is known from the desired temperature reduction by the user. The author succeeded in conducting research using the operating mode to determine a set-point at 34 degree Celcius, which can reduce the initial temperature of 35.25 degree Celcius to the set-point in 11.86 seconds in the set fixed cooling mode and can reduce the initial temperature of 34.15 degree Celcius to 27.36 degree Celcius in 290.66 seconds in maximum cooling mode and with a set-point of 32.93 degree Celcius it can reduce the average forehead temperature of 35.93 degree Celcius to reach the set-point in 28.25 seconds in the set cooling temp mode.
