Abstract
In human’s life nowadays, computer has been playing a very important role in handling human’s duties more accurately and quickly than human itself. Furthermore, computer can also be utilized to help one make decisions in many areas. Making human’s life easier is the goal of computerization. Not only in business process, computerization is applied also in many other areas including restaurant, which is the main interest of this field work. The main problem occurred in restaurant are the inefficiency of time usage and resource of the employees as well as human error factor prior to and post of the menu preparation chain process. This report discusses about the inefficiency identified in certain modern restaurant’s existing system being used nowadays, the advantage and disadvantage (in term of cost) of applying kind of computerization in restaurant, developing a proposed user friendly system to tackle the inefficiency problem, and the architecture of this new system. As conclusion, the new system which is convinced to be user friendly is invented with some of advantages and limitation.
