Abstract

Pilkada DKI 2017 has become the center of public attention, especially addressed to Ahok. The purpose of this research is to know the meaning of Ahok as through the cover film meme in social media in forming favorable opinion on the first-time-voter. Social construction theory is used as an analytical framework. The method used in this research is qualitative method with descriptive approach. Informant selection technique used in this research is purposive in which the informant is chosen based on the first time voter. The number of informant in this research are 5 informant through interview. Data analysis uses coding technique and data reduction. From the result of data analysis that has been done, the researcher find out that in externalization stage, there are attitudes, traits of heroes, meme images representing Ahok, and public opinion. In the objectivation stage obtained the results; those are leader characteristics, the different of leader character, and negative preaching. In the internalization stage obtained the results; those are attitude as the first voter, matching value of the figures with Ahok, values possed in Ahok, and applicable values. / Pilkada DKI 2017 telah menjadi pusat perhatian masyarakat luas, terutama ditujukan kepada Ahok. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemaknaan Ahok sebagai tokoh melalui meme cover film yang ada di media sosial dalam membentuk opini yang favorable pada pemilih pemula. Teori konstruksi sosial digunakan sebagai kerangka analisis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pemilihan informan dalampenelitian ini adalah secara purposive dimana dipilih dengan berdasarkan pada pemilih pertama (First-time Voter). Jumlah Informan dalam penelitianini adalah sebanyak 5 Informan melalui wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan dengan teknik coding dan reduksi data. Dari hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan, peneliti menemukan bahwa dalam tahap eksternalisasi, terdapat sikap, sifat-sifat pahlawan, gambar meme yang mewakili Ahok, opini masyarakat. Dalam tahap objektivasi diperoleh hasil karakteristik pemimpin, perbedaan karakter pemimpin, dan pemberitaan negative. Dalam tahap internalisasi, diperoleh hasil sikap sebagai pemilih pertama, kecocokan nilai pada tokoh dengan Ahok, nilai yang terdapat dalam diri Ahok, dan nilai yang dapat diterapkan.
