Abstract

Lentera Harapan Christian School Curug has a vision and mission to proclaim the preeminence of Christ and actively involved in redemptive restoration for all things through Him in Holistic Education. In leadership, the school also implemented the redemptive leadership that is in line with the vision and mission of the school. The purpose of this research is to find out the understanding of leaders about redemptive leadership, the characteristic of reademptive leadership in this school, as well as the impact and obstacles faced in implementing redemptive leadership at the school. The study used qualitative research that is grounded theory. The instruments are interviews, documents, and open ended questionares. Interviewees are ten leaders of Lentera Harapan Curug Christian School. The data was analyzed by open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. The results of this research showed 4 characteristics of redemptive leadership at the Lentera Harapan Christian School Curug. The characteristics are leadership that built sin awareness, Christ-centered leadership, leadership that glorifies God, and leadership aimed in discipleship. The characteristics of redemptive leadership are willing to sacrifice, a strong relationship with God and others, humble, and have compassion. The impacts of redemptive leadership are the Shalom communities, a good relationship with God and others, and then the transformation of the organization. The obstacles are self-centeredness and sinfulness. / Sekolah Kristen Lentera Harapan Curug memiliki visi dan misi untuk menyatakan keutamaan Kristus dan terlibat aktif dalam pemulihan yang bersifat menebus segala sesuatu di dalam Dia melalui pendidikan Holistis. Dalam hal kepemimpinan, sekolah ini juga menerapkan kepemimpinan yang menebus yang sejalan dengan visi dan misi sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemahaman leaders mengenai kepemimpinan yang menebus, karakteristik kepemimpinan yang menebus di sekolah ini, serta dampak dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam menerapkan kepemimpinan yang menebus di sekolah. Penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian kualitatif grounded theory. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah wawancara, dokumen, dan angket terbuka. Narasumber yang diwawancarai adalah sepuluh leaders dari Sekolah Kristen Lentera Harapan Curug. Pengolahan data yang dilakukan adalah dengan analisis koding terbuka, koding aksial, dan koding selektif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya 4 gambaran mengenai kepemimpinan yang menebus dalam penerapannya di Sekolah Kristen Lentera Harapan Curug yaitu kepemimpinan yang menyadarkan keberdosaan, kepemimpinan yang berpusat pada Kristus, Kepemimpinan yang memuliakan Tuhan, dan kepemimpinan yang bertujuan untuk pemuridan. Karakteristik kepemimpinan yang menebus adalah rela berkorban, relasi yang kuat dengan Tuhan dan sesama, rendah hati, dan memiliki belas kasihan. Dampak dari kepemimpinan yang menebus adalah terbentuknya komunitas syalom, hubungan yang baik dengan Tuhan dan sesama, serta transformasi organisasi. Kendala yang dialami adalah self-centered dan keberdosaan.
