Abstract

Setiap rumah sakit wajib mempunyai sistem keselamatan pasien yang baik untuk menghindarkan KTD (kejadian tidak diinginkan) untuk itu diperlukan PSO (patient safety officer), PSO sendiri adalah petugas keamanan pasien yang bertugas untuk memanejeri dan memimpin struktur keamanan pasien di sebuah rumah sakit, baik tidaknya suatu standar keselamatan pasien dirumah sakit di tentukan oleh kinerja PSO tersebut, PSO tidak bekerja sendiri melainkan mempunyai tim yang tersebar disetiap departemen yang berada pada rumah sakit, PSO bertugas untuk terus mengembangkan standar keamanan dirumah sakit tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melihat gambaran umum PSO di satu rumah sakit swasta Indonesia bagian Tengah, metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini memiliki populasi sebanyak 177 tenaga kesehatan dan sample sejumlah 123 tenaga kesehatan dengan menggunakan rumus slovin. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah pengembangan dari tujuh tugas pokok PSO yang di dapat di satu rumah sakit swasta di Indonesia bagian tengah yang sudah diuji Validitas dan Reliabilitasnya dengan Alpa cronbach 0.75, analisa data yang digunakan menggunakan analisa univariat dengan metode statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah dari 123 perawat jenis kelamin perempuan mendominasi sebesar 82.1%, tingkat pendidikan perawat sebagian besar berpendidikan DIII keperawatan sebesar 93.5% dan dari persepsi perawat terhadap PSO di satu rumah sakit swasta Indonesia bagian tengah ini pada tugas yang pertama membangun kesadaran akan nilai keselamatan pasien sebesar 93.8%, pada tugas memimpin dan mendukung staf rumah sakit sebesar 85,1%, pada tugas mengintegrasikan aktivitas pengelolaan risiko sebesar 88,4%, pada tugas mengembangkan sistem pelaporan sebesar 88,8%, pada tugas melibatkan dan berkomunikasi dengan pasien sebesar 88,3%, pada tugas belajar dan membagi pengalaman tentang keselamatan pasien sebesar 79,7%, pada tugas mencegah cidera melalui implementasi sistem keselamatan pasien sebesar 81,4%. Penelitian selanjutnya adalah Efektivitas PSO (Patient Safety Officer) dalam penerapannya di rumah sakit = Every hospital is obliged to have a patient safety system that is good for avoiding KTD (unwanted events) for that PSO (patient safety officer) is needed, PSO itself is a patient security officer whose task is to manage and lead the patient's safety structure in a hospital, whether or not a patient safety standard at the hospital is determined by the performance of the PSO, PSO does not work alone but has a scattered team in every department that is in the hospital, PSO is tasked with continuing to develop safety standards in the hospital. The purpose of this study is to see a general description of PSO in private hospitals in Central Indonesia, the research method uses descriptive quantitative method with purposive sampling technique. This study has a population of 177 health workers and a sample of 123 health workers using the Slovin formula. The instrument of this research is the development of seven PSO main tasks obtained from private hospitals in central Indonesia that have been tested for Validity and Reliability with Alpa Cronbach 0.75, data analysis used using univariate analysis with descriptive statistical methods. The results of this study were 123 female nurses dominated by 82.1%, the education level of nurses mostly educated in nursing at 93.5% and from nurses' perceptions of PSO in private hospitals in central Indonesia in the first task of building awareness of the value of safety patients were 93.8%, in the task of leading and supporting hospital staff by 85.1%, on the task of integrating risk management activities by 88.4%, on the task of developing a reporting system of 88.8%, the task involved involving and communicating with patients 88.3%, on learning assignments and sharing experiences about patient safety by 79.7%, on the task of preventing injury through the implementation of a patient safety system of 81.4%. Further research is the effectiveness of PSO (Patient Safety Officer) in its application in hospitals.
