Abstract

Latar Belakang: Penyakit jantung koroner adalah tipe gangguan pembuluh darah yang termasuk kedalam kategori umum aterosklerosis. Individu yang telah terkena penyakit jantung selama waktu yang lama akan memiliki kondisi perubahan fisik yang semakin lemah sehingga menyebabkan ketidakberdayaan dan dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidupnya. Tujuan: Mengidentifikasi hubungan antara lama menderita dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien dengan penyakit jantung koroner di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Tengah Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan desain cross sectional. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner Short Form-36. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pasien dengan penyakit jantung koroner yang berobat di ruang rawat jalan di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Tengah. Total sampel berjumlah 84 orang yang diperoleh dengan metode purposive sampling. Hasil: Responden yang memiliki kualitas hidup sedang sebanyak 48 orang (57,1%) dan responden yang memiliki kualitas hidup buruk sebanyak 36 orang (42,9%). Nilai significancy menunjukkan angka p value=0,002. Oleh karena p<0,05 maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa ada hubungan lama menderita antara dan kualitas hidup di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Tengah. Kesimpulan: Semakin lama seseorang mengidap penyakit jantung maka kualitas hidupnya juga akan semakin menurun. Pada penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan variabel lain seperti menghubungkan karakteristik dari responden dengan kualitas hidup pasien = Background: Coronary Heart Disease is a type of disease in the blood vessel and can be called in atherosclerosis cathegory. Individuals who have been exposed to heart disease for a long time will have weakened physical changes and can affect the quality of life. Objective: Identified the correlation between time of diagnose with the quality of lifefor the patient with coronary artery diseaseat private hospital in the middle part of Indonesian Method: this research use quantitative correlational method with cross section design. The instrument that we used is Short Form-36 questionaire. The population is the all coronary artery disease patient in outpatient department in the private hospital in middle part of indonesian. There is 84 respondent in the population. The sampling technique is purposive sampling technique. Results: Results showed that 48 respondents have a average quality of life (57,1 %), and 36 respondents have bad quality of life (42,9 %).the value of significancy showed p value = 0,002. Because of p<0,05, there is a correlation between quality of life and time of diagnose. Conclusion: If the patients have longer time of diagnose of coronary artery disease, the quality of life will decrease as well. Next research can use another variable for the correlation between quality of life and demographic factor.
