Abstract

Pada kongres XII PERSI pada tahun 2012 menunjukan insiden pasien jatuh termasuk ke dalam tiga besar insiden medis rumah sakit. Di Rumah Sakit Swasta di Indonesia Barat ditemukan kejadian jatuh diruang rawat inap pada tahun 2017 sejumlah delapan pasien dan pada bulan Januari-Maret 2018 sejumlah dua pasien. Pengetahuan dan penerapan pencegahan risiko jatuh oleh perawat kerap dihubungkan dengan angka kejadian jatuh di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi hubungan pengetahuan dan penerapan pencegahan risiko jatuh pasien oleh perawat di ruang rawat inap di satu rumah sakit swasta Indonesia bagian Barat. Desain penelitian ini adalah korelasi, pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi. Jumlah sampel 37 perawat dengan teknik sampel total sampling. Data diolah dengan uji statistik Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar perawat mempunyai pengetahuan tentang risiko jatuh pada kategori kurang yaitu sebanyak 31 orang (83,8%) dan sebagian besar perawat tidak melakukan penerapan 100% komponen SOP intervensi pencegahan risiko jatuh pasien sedang sebanyak 34 perawat (91,9%). Berdasarkan analisis korelasi Chi-Square di dapatkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dan penerapan pencegahan risiko jatuh oleh perawat di ruang rawat inap dengan p-value 0.441 (p-value : 0,05%). Disarankan untuk penelitian selanjutnya meneliti faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengetahuan dan penerapan risiko jatuh pasien oleh perawat = At the PERSI XII Congress in 2012, the incidence of falling patients was included in the top three hospital medical incidents. In Private Hospitals in West Indonesia, there were eight patients falling in the inpatient room in 2017 and two patients from January to March 2018. Knowledge and application of prevention of falling risk by nurses are often associated with the incidence of falls in hospitals. This study aims to identify the relationship of knowledge and the application of prevention of the risk of falling patients by nurses in inpatient rooms in a Western Indonesian private hospital. The design of this study is correlation, data collection uses questionnaires and observations. The number of samples was 37 nurses with total sampling technique. Data is processed by ChiSquare statistical test. The results showed that most of the nurses had knowledge about risk falling in the less category, namely 31 people (83.8%) and most nurses did not apply 100% of the SOP component of the intervention to prevent the risk of falling patients being 34 nurses (91.9%) . Based on Chi-Square correlation analysis found that there is no relationship between knowledge and the application of prevention of the risk of falling by nurses in the inpatient room with a p-value of 0.441 (p-value: 0.05%). It is recommended for further research to examine the factors that influence knowledge and the application of the risk of falling patients by nurses.
