Abstract

Pasien jatuh merupakan peristiwa yang mengakibatkan seseorang secara tidak sengaja tergeletak dilantai maupun tempat yang lebih rendah, tanpa pengkajian tepat waktu, mungkin tidak ada luka pada pasien atau lesi. Wanita hamil dan postpartum merupakan salah satu kelompok yang memiliki faktor risiko jatuh, hal ini dikarenakan terjadi perubahan fisiologis saat hamil dan postpartum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran alat penilaian risiko jatuh Johns Hopkins pada pasien maternitas di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Tengah. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan total 57 responden (rata- rata per bulan dari Desember 2017 - Februari 2018). Penelitian dilakukan di ruang rawat inap maternitas di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Tengah, dengan menggunakan lembar pengkajian Johns Hopkins yang telah menjadi standard operating procedur dari Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Tengah. Analisis penelitian menggunakan analisis data univariat yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan medeskripsikan variable penelitian. Hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan menunjukan bahwa jumlah pasien yang memiliki risiko jatuh rendah sebanyak 25 orang (43,9), risiko jatuh sedang sebanyak 32 orang (56,14%) dan risiko jatuh rendah sebanyak 0 (0%). Saran bagi penelitian selanjutnya untuk meneliti fenomena yang sama tetapi menggunakan alat yang dikhususkan untuk wanita hamil dan postpartum = Falling patients are events that result in someone accidentally lying on the floor or lower ground, without timely assessment, there may be no injury to the patient or lesion. Pregnant women and postpartum mothers are among the groups that have risk factors for fall, this is due to physiological changes during pregnancy and postpartum. The purpose of this study is to know description risk of falling in obstetric patients with the Johns Hopkins Fall Risk Assessment Tools in one private hospital in Central Indonesia. The method of research is descriptive quantitative. The technique of sampling used purposive sampling with total of 57 respondents (Average from December 2017 to February 2018). The study was conducted in private hospital in Central Indonesia maternity medical ward, by using Johns Hopkins assessment tool that has become the standard operating procedure of Private Hospital in Central Indonesia. The data analysis used univariate data to explain and describe the characteristics of each research variable. Overall the results of the study found that patients with a low risk of falling were 25 people (43,9%), patients with a moderate risk of falling were 32 people (56,14%), and patients with a high risk of falling were 0 (0%). Suggestions for future researchers. Suggestions for future researchers to examine the same phenomenon but using specifieda tool for pregnant women and postpartum.
