Abstract

Kanker merupakan salah satu penyebab kesakitan dan kematian tertinggi di seluruh dunia. GLOCOBAN, International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) menyebutkan bahwa ada 14 juta kasus baru dan 8,8 juta kematian pada tahun 2015. Nyeri merupakan keluhan utama yang dirasakan oleh pasien kanker di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Tengah. Rumah Sakit mempunyai standar operasinal prosedur pengkajian nyeri komprehensif yang terdiri dari: wong baker scale, comfort pain scale, numeric pain scale, flacc pain scale, dan cries pain scale. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap perawat dalam penerapan pengkajian nyeri pasien kanker di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Tengah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi untuk penelitian ini adalah perawat di ruang rawat inap lantai 5 Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Tengah ynag berjumlah 83 perawat. Sampel yang diambil adalah sebanyak 48 perawat dengan menggunakan teori Slovin (sampel minimal penelitian 30). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa kuesioner yang didapatkan dari penelitian sebelumnya dan di modifikasi sesuai penelitian. Kuesioner untuk variabel telah diuji reliabisitas dan validitas pada 30 orang pertama dan di bagikan lagi kepada 48 orang responden penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 79% perawat sudah memiliki pengetahuan yang baik, dan 94% perawat sudah menunjukan sikap yang baik dalam penerapan pengkajian nyeri. Namun, dari Uji spearman’s rho di atas menunjukan nilai 0.144 yang berarti lebih besar dari 0.05 berarti tidak adanya hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut. Kesimpulan hasil yang didapatkan menunjukan tidak ada hubungan antara variabel pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap penerapan pengkajian nyeri pada pasien kanker di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Tengah = Cancer is one of the highest causes of illness and death worldwide. GLOCOBAN, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) says that there are 14 million new cases and 8.8 million deaths by 2015. Pain is a major complaint felt by cancer patients at Private Hospital in Central Indonesia. Hospital has operasinal standard comprehensive pain assessment procedure consisting of: wong baker scale, comfort pain scale, numeric pain scale, flacc pain scale, and cries pain scale. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude of nurses in the application of pain assessment of cancer patients in Private Hospital in Central Indonesia. The research method used is quantitative correlation. The population for this research is nurses in the 5 th floor of the Private Hospital in Central Indonesia consisting of 83 nurses. Samples taken were 48 nurses using Slovin theory (minimum sample of research 30). The data collection instrument used was questionnaire obtained from previous research and modified according to the research. This questionnaire will be tested reliabisitas and validity in the first 30 people and distributed again to 48 respondents research. The results showed that 79% of nurses already have good knowledge, and 94% of nurses have shown a good attitude in the application of pain assessment. However, from test spearman’s above shows the value of 0.144 which means greater than 0.05 means no relationship between the two variables. The conclusion of the results didaptkan show there is no relation between the variables of knowledge and attitude toward the application of pain assessment on cancer patients Private Hospital in Central Indonesia.
