Abstract

Perawatan paliatif merupakan perawatan kesehatan terpadu yang bersifat aktif dan menyeluruh, dengan pendekatan multidisiplin yang terintegrasi. Tujuan dari perawatan paliatif adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien. Pentingnya dukungan tenaga kesehatan khususnya perawat sangat dibutuhkan dalam pelayanan perawatan menjelang ajal guna meningkatan kualitas hidup pasien paliatif. Kajian literatur ini bertujuan untuk meninjau bagaimana dukungan perawat dalam pelayanan keperawatan menjelang ajal yang diambil dari berbagai artikel penelitian. Penulis menggunakan PubMed, Ebsco dan Google Scholar sebagai sumber pencarian database. Kriteria inklusi yang digunakan dalam kajian literatur ini adalah artikel free full text, tahun publikasi adalah dalam 10 tahun terakhir mulai tahun 2008-2018, artikel dalam bahasa Inggris dan bahasa Indonesia, dan tergolong dalam kategori nursing journal. Sedangkan untuk kriteria ekslusi yaitu artikel yang merupakan artikel berbayar atau yang membutuhkan akses keanggotaan, tahun publikasi lebih dari 10 tahun yaitu kurang dari tahun 2008, artikel bukan dalam bahasa Inggris dan bahasa Indonesia, dan tidak termasuk kategori nursing journal. Dalam kajian literatur ini, penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif thematic analysis. Hasilnya didapatkan empat tema besar mengenai dukungan perawat dalam pelayanan perawatan menjelang ajal yaitu dukungan dalam aspek fisik, aspek psikologis, aspek spiritual, dan aspek sosial = Palliative care is an integrated health care that is active and comprehensive, with an integrated multidisciplinary approach. The purpose of palliative care is to improve the quality of life of patients. The importance of the support of health workers, especially nurses, is needed in dying care services to improve the quality of life of palliative patients. This literature study aims to review how nurses support death-related nursing services taken from various research articles. The author uses PubMed, Ebsco and Google Scholar as database search sources. The inclusion criteria used in this literature review are free full text articles, publication year in the last 10 years starting from 2008- 2018, articles in English and Indonesian, and classified in the nursing journal category. As for the exclusion criteria, articles that are paid articles or those that require membership access, the publication year is more than 10 years, which is less than 2008, articles not in English and Indonesian, and not in the nursing journal category. In the review of this literature, the authors use qualitative methods of thematic analysis. The results obtained four major themes regarding nurses' support in dying care services, namely support in physical aspects, psychological aspects, spiritual aspects, and social aspects.
