Abstract

Latar Belakang: Medication error merupakan salah satu bentuk kesalahan medis dalam perawatan kesehatan yang dapat menyebabkan konsekuensi negatif pada kondisi pasien. Lingkungan kerja dapat menjadi salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi perawat dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan kepada pasien khususnya dalam pemberian obat. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan lingkungan kerja dengan kejadian medication error di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia bagian tengah. Metode Penelitian: Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif cross sectional. Instrumen penelitian yang akan digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner (angket) tertutup, yaitu kuesioner dengan pilihan jawaban. Sampel penelitian diperoleh dari populasi yang bekerja di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Tengah sebanyak 30 orang, yakni dengan teknik pengambilan total sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa univariat dan bivariat, analisis korelasi Uji Spearmen Rho (p<0.05) dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 17.0. Hasil Penelitian: Hasil pengujian statistik menunjukkan ada hubungan lingkungan kerja dengan kejadian Medication error (p value 0.05; r = 0.351). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan antara x dan y, namun bersifat lemah dan kurang signifikan = Background: The medication error is one of the wrong forms in its treatment that can cause negative consequences for patient condition. The work enviroment can be one of the factors affecting the nurses in providing good service. Objective: The purpose of the research is to analyze the enviromental relationship with the incidenceof treatment error in the Rumah Sakit Swasta di Indonesia Bagian Tengah. Method: The research used quantitative cross sectional approach. The research instrument used is questinnaire, that is questionnaire with answer choice. Research sample is obtained from population working at Inpatient Department Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Tengah as many as 30 people, that is by total sampling technique. Data analysis in this research is univariate and bivariate analysis, design analysis of Rho Spearmen Test (p <0,05) using cross sectional by using of SPSS versi 17.0. Results: The results of statistical tests were obtained is there a relationship between the work environment and medical errors (p value 0.05; r = 0.351). Based on the results of the study can be concluded that there is a relationship between variable x and variable y but weak and less significant.
