Abstract
The acts of sexual harassment, which in the past may have only been done verbally or in physical contact, has evolve nowadays which sexual harassment act performed with writing and comments such as that done through cyberspace. Therefore, because the development of crimes against sexuality, the law has also developed in regulating criminal acts committed through social media, especially in the legal protection of victims. The purpose of this study was to determine the legal protection those the victims of sexual harassment through social media in terms of the ITE Law, and how to implement legal protection for victims of sexual harassment through social media. Based on the formulation of the problem, this type of research is normative legal research. With normative legal research, namely examining various aspects of theory, comparison, and the binding strength of a law. The first results of this study found that there have been many roles for the government in providing preventive legal protection for victims of sexual harassment, for example by making ITE laws and reporting tools for those who find sexual content. The second result of this study found that the implementation of repressive legal protection for victims is still lacking, such as restoring the victim's previous condition by providing psychological assistance.
