Abstract

Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) perawatan tali pusat adalah untuk mengurangi keraguan dan membimbing tenaga kesehatan dalam melakukan tindakan yang sesuai dengan pedoman yang telah terstandarisasi oleh rumah sakit, untuk mencegah infeksi tali pusat dalam praktek tenaga kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi gambaran pelaksanaan perawatan tali pusat pada bayi baru lahir di saah satu rumah sakit swasta Indonesia Barat. Penelitian di lakukan di Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) dan ruang bayi Labour Delivery Suite (LDS) di rumah sakit swasta di Indonesia Barat pada tanggal 1 – 20 Juli 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan pertimbangan etik dengan menghormati martabat manusia dan keadilan. Peneliti menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Peneliti melakukan penelitian terhadap 16 tenaga kesehatan dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pendekatan observasi yaitu dengan pengamatan terhadap kegiatan responden. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan pengeditan data, coding, entri data dan teknik analisis data. Analisa data menggunakan analisa univariat yaitu mendeskripsikan variabel tunggal dengan gambaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perawatan tali pusat yang dilakukan oleh perawat dan bidan adalah rata - rata “tidak sesuai” SOP lebih tinggi yaitu 15 orang (93,8%) daripada yang “sesuai” SOP dengan jumlah satu orang (6,2%). Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya yaitu agar dapat melakukan penelitian tentang faktor-faktor penyebab perawat dan bidan tidak melakukan perawatan tali pusat sesuai Standar Operasional Prosedur = Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the treatment of umbilical cord is a tool for minimizing doubt and for guiding healthcare personel in performing appropriate actions from the guideline that’s been standardized by the hospital, to prevent umbilical cord infection in the practice of healthcare personel. The Purpose of this study is to identify the illustration of umbilical cord treatment implementation on newborns in one of a private hospital in west Indonesia. This study is performed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the Labour Delivery Suite (LDS) room in a private hospital in West Indonesia on July 1 to July 20 2018. This study uses ethical considerations while respecting human justice and dignity. The researcher uses quantitative study design with descriptive method. The researcher performed the study in 16 healthcare personel with total sampling technique. The data is gathered with observational approach which is performed by the researcher’s observation of the respondents. The data processing is performed with data editing, coding, data entry, and data analysis techniqur. The Data Analysis uses Univariate Analysis that described the single variable with illustrations. The result of this study shows that the umbilical cord treatment performed by nurses and midwives that are not appropriate according to the SOP is higher, which is 15 persons (93,8%) compared to the appropriate treatment according to the SOP which is one person (6,2%). Suggestions for further research are to be able to conduct research about the factors that cause nurses and midwives not to perform umbilical cord care according to Standard Operating Procedures
