Abstract

Perawatan paliatif adalah pendekatan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien dan keluarganya dalam menghadapi masalah yang mengancam kehidupan. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang di lakukan pada bulan April 2018 terdapat 93% dari 15 mahasiswa keperawatan kurang paham mengenai pengetahuan atau teori mengenai perawatan paliatif, dikarenakan minimum proses pembelajaran mengenai perawatan paliatif tersebut. Metode dengan deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan kuesioner yang diadopsi dari Sulaeman (2016) yang sudah di lakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa profesi keperawatan angkatan 2014, dengan menggunakan Accidental sampling sebanyak 122 responden. Analisa data menggunakan perhitungan univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa frekuensi hasil pada tingkat pengetahuan baik sebanyak 6 responden (4,90%), tingkat pengetahuan cukup sebanyak 55 responden (45,10%), dan tingkat pengetahuan kurang sebanyak 61 responden (50%). Rekomendasi untuk peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan untuk meneliti faktorfaktor yang memengaruhi tingkat pengetahuan perawatan paliatif = Palliative care is an approach to improve the quality of life of patients and their families in the face of life-threatening problems. Based on the results of interviews conducted in April 2018 there were 93% of the 15 nursing students who were not aware of the knowledge or theory of palliative care, due to the minimum learning process regarding the palliative care. Quantitative descriptive method uses a questionnaire adopted from Sulaeman (2016) which has been tested for validity and reliability. The population of this study was the 2014 nursing profession students, using Accidental sampling of 122 respondents. Data analysis uses univariate calculations. The results showed that the frequency of results at the level of good knowledge was 6 respondents (4.90%), the level of knowledge was 55 respondents (45.10%), and the level of knowledge was less than 61 respondents (50%). Recommendations for further researchers are expected to examine factors that influence the level of knowledge of palliative care.
