Abstract

Identifikasi pasien merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meminimalkan timbulnya risiko dan mencegah terjadinya cedera yang disebabkan oleh kesalahan tindakan. Penting bagi perawat menerapkan dan melaksanakan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) dalam setiap tindakan yang akan dilakukan kepada pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kepatuhan perawat dalam melaksanakan identifikasi pasien sesuai SOP. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Unit Gawat Darurat di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Bagian Barat. penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 28 Juni sampai 15 Juli 2018. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan sample menggunakan total sampling, dengan jumlah sempel 13 orang perawat. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi checklist. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara kelesuruhan dari tiga kali observasi terdapat 13 (100%) responden yang tidak patuh sedangkan 0 (0%) responden patuh, sehingga kesimpulannya perawat tidak patuh dalam melaksanakan identifikasi pasien sesuai SOP. Saran yang dapat disampaikan peneliti, agar dilakukannya penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan perawat dalam melaksanakan identifikasi pasien, sehingga Rumah Sakit mampu meningkatkan mutu pelayanan = The identification of patients is one way to minimize the risk and precautions to prevent injuries caused by misconduct. It is important for nurses to apply and implement Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for any action to be taken to the patient. The purpose of this study was to determine the compliance of nurses in implementing the patient identification according to SOP. This research was conducted in the Emergency Unit at the Private Hospital West Indonesia. the study was conducted on June 28 to July 15, 2018. The design study is quantitative descriptive. The samples using the total sampling, with sample of 13 nurses. The research instrument used is the observation checklist sheet. The results showed that in total, from three observations there were 13 (100%) respondents who were not compliant while 0 (0%) respondents obeyed, so the conclusion was that nurses were not compliant in carrying out patient identification according to SOP. Suggestions that can be submitted by the researcher, in order to do further research to identify the factors that influence the compliance of the nurses in carrying out patient identification, so that the Hospital can improve the service quality.
