Abstract

This research is aimed to have a general perspective on whether a transformational leadership, supportive organizational culture, and creativity have impact on teachers and staff’s motivation of a school. This research is conducted by analyzing the existing transformational leadership style at the school, the organizational culture, and the employee’s creativity at work. Those variables are then analysed in purpose to see if they are related as it is assumed. This is a quantitative type of research with a linear regretion counting method. A questionnaire is used as a data gathering tool. The results are then to be used for seeing if any relation between the analysed variables take place. The results of this research show that there is a correlation between transformational leadership style and organizational culture to motivation level. However, the same positive correlation is not as big when creativity, as the intervening variable, is involved. This shows that creativity doesn’t have great impact upon teachers and staff’s motivation level at the school where this research takes place. / Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan kesimpulan mengenai pengaruh yang dapat diberikan oleh tipe kepemimpinan transformasional, budaya kerja suportif, dan kreativitas kepada motivasi kerja guru dan karyawan pada sekolah dasar ABCD. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan dengan menganalisa tipe kepemimpinan transformasional yang ada di sekolah tersebut berikut budaya organisasi yang ada serta tingkat kreativitas dan motivasi kerja yang dimiliki oleh para guru dan karyawannya. Pada akhirnya, penelitian ini akan melihat korelasi yang dimiliki oleh aspek-aspek di atas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pengolahan data secara regresi linear. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan akan digunakan untuk melakukan pengujian hipotesa untuk melihat korelasi variabel-variabel yang diteliti. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa memang terdapat korelasi antara tipe kepemimpinan transformasional serta budaya organisasi suportif terhadap tingkat motivasi. Akan tetapi hubungan positif ini tidak terlihat ketika variabel kreativitas dimasukan sebagai variabel intervening dan mengakibatkan ditolaknya hipotesa awal. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas tidak memberikan dampak kepada motivasi kerja karyawan.
