Abstract

School as an educational institution, can not be separated from the needs of the organization's identity which are reflected in the school vision and mission to give influence to the leadership expected to be present in the school. Pelangi Kasih School has a real struggle about the concept of Christian leadership that does not yet exist. Currently every headmaster has a personal interpretation about leadership, resulting in the emergence of disintegration between field performance and school vision and mission. The absence of performance accountability within Pelangi Kasih School makes the performance of each principal very difficult to be evaluated. This research seeks to shape a proposition of the concept of Christian leadership as a foundation in building a holistic and measurable indicator of leadership performance in terms of the principal's role and responsibilities in achieving school vision, mission and objectives. The design results are based on the four areas of leadership generated through six thoughts regarding the Christian leadership dimension. They are the basic leadership concepts, leadership skills and behaviors, relation and interactions and lastly, professional and personal growth. Performance indicators designed, within the four areas using both internal and external interview data as well as literature data supported by feedback from each key individual on the outcome of the design, will have a contextual and realistic proposition for Pelangi Kasih School. / Sekolah sebagai sebuah institusi pendidikan, tidak lepas dari kebutuhan terhadap identitas organisasi yang tercermin dalam visi dan misi sekolah dan memberikan pengaruh kepada kepemimpinan diharapkan hadir di dalam sekolah. sekolah Pelangi Kasih memiliki pergumulan riil tentang konsep kepemimpinan Kristen yang belum ada. Saat ini setiap kepala sekolah memiliki interpretasi pribadi tentang kepemimpinan, mengakibatkan kemunculan disintegrasi antara kinerja lapangan dengan visi dan misi sekolah. Ketiadaan akuntabilitas kinerja di dalam sekolah Pelangi Kasih membuat kinerja kepala sekolah sulit untuk dievaluasi dalam kaitannya terhadap keberhasilan pencapaian ekspektasi yayasan terhadap sekolah. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk membentuk sebuah proposisi konsep kepemimpinan Kristen sebagai landasan di dalam membangun indikator kinerja kepemimpinan yang bersifat holistik dan terukur dalam hal peran dan tanggung jawab kepala sekolah di dalam usaha untuk mencapai visi, misi dan sasaran sekolah. Hasil perancangan melandas kepada empat wilayah kepemimpinan yang dihasilkan melalui enam pemikiran berkenaan dimensi kepemimpinan Kristen, yaitu dasar konsep kepemimpinan, ketrampilan dan perilaku kepemimpinan, interaksi dan relasi serta pertumbuhan profesional dan pribadi. Indikator kinerja dirancang di dalam keempat wilayah dengan menggunakan data wawancara baik internal dan eksternal serta data literatur serta input balik dari setiap individu kunci terhadap hasil rancangan akan menghasilkan sebuah proposisi yang kontekstual dan realistis bagi sekolah Pelangi Kasih.
