Abstract

Wawasan dunia Kristen merupakan hal yang penting dalam menyikapi isu-isu dunia termasuk pendidikan pada masa sekarang ini. Pembelajaran berbasis wawasan dunia Kristen memberikan kerangka berpikir yang konsisten yang berdasar pada konsep convenant dan anugrah Tuhan, sehingga mahasiswa dimampukan memandang ilmu pengetahuan yang dipelajari secara holistis. Dosen memegang peranan penting dalam pembelajaran, khususnya dalam pembelajaran berbasis wawasan dunia Kristen. Dibutuhkan karakteristik dosen yang kuat agar pembelajaran dapat berjalan efektif. Mata kuliah Pancasila pada Universitas XYZ dipilih untuk studi kasus karakteristik dosen karena mata kuliah ini berbasis wawasan dunia Kristen dan mata kuliah ini dinilai penting oleh pemerintah dalam pembentukan generasi yang bertoleransi dan memiliki misi membangun bangsa. Pertanyaan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: bagaimana karakteristik dosen dalam perannya sebagai pemimpin? Bagaimana karakteristik dosen dalam perannya sebagai karyawan? Bagaimana karakteristik dosen sebagai seorang Kristen? Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik dosen dalam pembelajaran berbasis wawasan dunia Kristen. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Tiga orang dosen Pancasila di Universitas XYZ yang menerapkan pembelajaran Pancasila berbasis wawasan dunia Kristen dijadikan subyek penelitian. Triangulasi menggunakan wawancara dengan mahasiswa dan lembar observasi dari peneliti digunakan untuk memperkuat temuan penelitian. Ditemukan bahwa karakteristik dosen dalam pembelajaran Pancasila berbasis wawasan dunia Kristen meliputi adanya unsur kepemimpinan pembelajaran, adanya unsur employee engagement terhadap institusi, memiliki pandangan Alkitabiah mengenai kerja dan mengalami progressive sanctification. Masing-masing karakteristik dosen yang ditemukan memiliki kekuatan dan kelemahan. Temuan tersebut dikonfirmasi dari hasil wawancara dengan mahasiswa dan catatan observasi. / The Christian worldview is important in addressing world issues including education in this relative era. Christian worldview based learning provides a realistic understanding for students in learning process, so it is possible to reach the holistic education when we use Christian worldview as the foundation. Lecturers are important in learning, especially in Christian worldview based learning. Strong characteristic is needed so that learning can be effective. The Pancasila course is chosen for this case study because this course conducts in Christian worldview and this course is important in forming generations that are tolerant and have transformational missions. The questions research in this study included: how does the role of lecture as leader in this course? How does the characteristic of the lectures in his role as an employee? How does the characteristic of the lectures as Christian? Purpose of this research is to find out the characteristic of the lecture in Christian worldview based learning. Three lecturers from Pancasila at XYZ University who applied Christian worldview based learning in Pancasila were used as research subjects. Triangulation uses interviews with students and observations. It was found that the caracteristic of the lectures in Christian worldview based learning involves educational leadership, inclusive employee engagement, has a biblical view of work and progressive sanctification. Each as found has strengths and weaknesses. These findings are from the results of interviews with students and observations.
