Abstract

Teachers are educators who play an important role in determining the success of schools to achieve their educational goals. Therefore, every teacher should be able to provide the best performance, because the success of all learning activities is determined by the performance of teachers in schools. This study aims to examine the influence of principal leadership, work environment, and employee engagement to teacher performance in XYZ Tangerang School. This study uses quantitative research methods with respondents amounted to 38 teachers. Data collection techniques uses questionnaire. Data analysis uses descriptive and inferential analysis technique with linear regression method. The result of the research showed that principal leadership had positive effect on teacher performance, work environment had positive effect on teacher performance, and employee engagement had positive effect on teacher performance. As well as simultaneously the leadership of the principal, work environment and employee engagement have a positive and significant impact on teacher performance. / Guru adalah tenaga pendidik yang berperan penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan sekolah mencapai tujuan pendidikannya. Oleh karena itu, setiap guru harus mampu memberikan kinerja yang terbaik, karena keberhasilan seluruh kegiatan pembelajaran sangat ditentukan oleh kinerja guru di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, lingkungan kerja, dan keterikatan karyawan terhadap kinerja guru di Sekolah XYZ Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan responden berjumlah 38 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial dengan metode regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpina kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif kepada kinerja guru, dan keterikatan karyawan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru. Serta secara simultan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, lingkungan kerja dan keterikatan karyawan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.
