Abstract

Learning achievement is a result that has been achieved by someone in terms of mastering, and also skills that has been improved in class. As a result, learning achievement becomes one of the final results of teacher performance that comes under the leadership of school principals. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of caring leadership, teacher performance and academic supports on the perception of learning achievement from students at XYZ primary school. Learning achievement is the main focus of this research because it is the final purpose of educational institution. Teachers have responsibilities not only to boost academic achievement of students, but also to be able to improve their character and behaviour. Data gathering was completed through two methods: questionnaires to 30 teachers, and interviews with the school principal and three team leaders of each class from XYZ primary school. While the qualitative approach was done by interview, the quantitative approach of this research was taken through PLS-SEM method, which is supported by software SmartPLS 3.2.7 that evaluates outer loading and inner model.This research concludes that caring leadership, teacher competencies and academic support have positive effects on learning achievement at XYZ primary school. / Prestasi belajar merupakan hasil yang dicapai seseorang dalam penguasaan dan keterampilan yang dikembangkan dalam pelajaran, sehingga prestasi belajar menjadi salah satu hasil akhir dari kinerja guru di bawah kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan yang peduli, kinerja guru, dan pendukung akademik terhadap persepsi prestasi belajar siswa Sekolah Dasar XYZ. Hal ini menjadi fokus penelitian karena prestasi belajar merupakan tujuan akhir dari sebuah lembaga pendidikan. Tenaga pendidik memiliki kewajiban untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik tidak hanya dari sisi akademik tetapi juga mampu mengubah sikap dan perilaku peserta didik ke arah yang lebih baik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode survey dengan kuesioner kepada 30 orang guru, wawancara kepala sekolah dan 3 team leader dari setiap angkatan di Sekolah Dasar XYZ. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode PLS-SEM dengan bantuan software SmartPLS 3.2.7 yang mengevaluasi model pengukuran (outer loading), dan model struktural (inner model) dan didukung oleh data interview (hasil wawancara). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa caring leadership, kinerja guru, dan academic support berpengaruh positif terhadap persepsi prestasi belajar siswa di Sekolah Dasar XYZ.
