Abstract

Cuci tangan adalah tindakan membersihkan tangan menggunakan sabun atau antiseptik pencuci tangan. Dalam dunia keperawatan sudah seharusnya perawat patuh cuci tangan, namun pada kenyataannya masih banyak perawat yang tidak patuh dalam mencuci tangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor internal dan faktor eksternal yang berhubungan dengan pelaksanaan cuci tangan perawat di ruang rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Siloam Sriwijaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi semua perawat yang bekerja di ruangan Bougenville dan Chrysant. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling yang berjumlah 49 responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner yang dibuat sendiri dan telah dilakukan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas dengan jumlah 25 pernyataan menggunakan skala likert. Analisa data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa univariat. Hasil penelitian faktor internal menunjukkan sebagian besar (57,14%) perawat berusia dewasa awal, sebagian besar (59,2%) perawat berpendidikan DIII, sebagian besar (73,46%) pengetahuan perawat cukup, sebagian besar (67,34%) masa kerja perawat lebih dari tiga tahun. Faktor eksternal meliputi, sebagian besar (71%) motivasi perawat baik, sebagian besar (53%) ketersediaan fasilitas kurang memadai, sebagian besar (51%) pengalaman kerja perawat kurang baik, sebagian besar (69%) supervisi rumah sakit baik. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat meneliti kepatuhan cuci tangan perawat sebelum dan sesudah melakukan tindakan keperawatan pada pasien / Hand washing is the act of cleaning hands with hand soap or hand washing antiseptics. In nursing practice, nurses should be obedient to wash hands, but in reality there are still many nurses who are not obedient in hand washing. This study aims to determine the internal factors and external factors associated with the implementation of hand washing nurses in the inpatient at Siloam Sriwijaya Hospital. This research uses descriptive quantitative design with cross-sectional approach. The population is all nurses working in the Bougenville and Chrysant rooms. The sampling technique used total sampling which amounted to 49 respondents. The research instrument uses self-made questionnaires and has tested the validity and reliability test by the number of 25 statements using Likert scale. Data analysis in this research is univariate analysis. The results of internal factor studies showed most (57.14%) of early adult nurses, most (59.2%) DIII educated nurses, most (73.46%) sufficient nurse knowledge, most (67,34%) working period of nurse more than three years. External factors include, most (71%) good nurse motivation, most (53%) availability of facilities is inadequate, most (51%) nurse work experience is not good enough, most (69%) had good hospital supervision. The next research is expected to examine the hand washing compliance of nurses before and after performing nursing actions to patients.
