Abstract

Health-care Associated Infection (HAIs) merupakan penyebab mortalitas dan morbiditas di rumah sakit akibat dari perilaku petugas kesehatan yang tidak mencuci tangan, sehingga hand hygiene merupakan tindakan pencegahan infeksi paling efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi mahasiswa keperawatan dengan kepatuhan pelaksanaan hand hygiene di Siloam Hospitals Lippo Cikarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif observasional dengan metode cross – sectional, dengan menggunakan alat ukur kuesioner dan observasi form cheklist, kuesioner telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas oleh peneliti sebelumnya dengan alpha cronbach 0,674. Penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling yaitu berjumlah 27 orang dan telah menyatakan bersedia untuk menjadi responden penelitian. Analisa data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara persepsi mahasiswa keperawatan dengan tingkat kepatuhan pelaksanaan hand hygiene di Siloam Hospitals Lippo Cikarang dengan �-value 0,656. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat melakukan penelitian dengan melihat faktor lain yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan pelaksanaan hand hygiene selain dari persepsi mengenai hand hygiene / Health-care Associated Infection (HAIs) is a cause of hospitalized mortality and morbidity resulting from the behavior of health workers who do not wash hands, so hand hygiene is the most effective preventive measure of infection. The aim of this research is to know the correlation between nursing students perceptions and the level of compliance of the implementation of hand hygiene in Siloam Hospitals Lippo Cikarang. This research is an observational descriptive research with cross-sectional method, using questionnaire measurement and observation of checklist form, the questionnaire has been tested the validity and reliability by the previous researchers with alpha cronbach 0.674. This research uses a total sampling of 27 people and has stated willing to be a research respondent. Data analysis was done univariat and bivariate using Chi-square test. The results of this research showed us that there is no correlation between the nursing student’s perception with the level of compliance of the implementatin of hand hygiene at the Siloam Hospitals Lippo Cikarang with ρ-value 0,656. Further research is expected to do the research by looking on another factors that had a correlation between the compliance of the implementatin of hand hygiene apart from the level of perception about hand hygiene.
