Abstract

Latar Belakang : Risiko jatuh merupakan suatu keadaan seseorang yang berada di posisi terendah dengan tergeletak dilantai yang dapat menyebabkan cedera dan juga ketidaknyamanan khususnya pada saat di rawat di rumah sakit. Tujuan: mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan perawat tentang risiko jatuh pasien dewasa di ruang rawat inap rumah sakit Siloam Dhirga Surya. Metode: menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan jumlah sampel 37 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan total sampling dan waktu penelitian satu bulan mulai bulan November. Aspek etik penelitian yaitu confidential (kerahasiaan) dan inform consent (persetujuan). Penelitian ini di uji etik di Research Community Service and Training Committee (RCTC). Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan karakteristik responden adalah terdapat sebagian besar perawat dengan tingkat pendidikan akhir S1 Keperawatan dan Ners (54,1%), usia terbanyak dari 21-30 tahun (86,4%) dan usia perawat dari 31-40 tahun (13,5%). Hasil penelitian berdasarkan pengetahuan dasar, skor, dan intervensi perawat tentang risiko jatuh sebanyak 89,3% dan pengetahuan risiko jatuh pasien dewasa sebanyak 97,3% dalam kategori baik sedangkan 2,7% dalam kategori kurang baik. Secara keseluruhan, pengetahuan perawat ruang rawat inap di rumah sakit Siloam Dhirga Surya tergolong baik. Namun, jika ditambah pelatihan khusus yang berkaitan dengan risiko jatuh, maka tingkat pengetahuan seluruh perawat di rumah sakit dapat meningkat dengan lebih baik / Background: The risk of falling is a person's situation at the lowest position by lying on the floor which can cause injury and discomfort especially at the time of hospitalization. Objective: to know the description of the nurse's knowledge about the risk of falling adult patients in the hospital ward of Siloam Dhirga Surya hospital. Method: using quantitative descriptive method and sample number 37 people. Sampling technique with total sampling and one month research time starting in November. Aspects of research ethics are confidential (confidentiality) and inform consent (consent). This research is in ethical test at Research Community Service and Training Committee (RCTC). The results of this study based on the characteristics of the respondents is that there are most of the nurses with the final education level of Nursing and Ners (54.1%), age 21-30 years (86.4%) and nursing age from 31-40 years (13, 5%). Result of research based on basic knowledge, score, and nurse intervention about risk fall as much 89,3% and knowledge of risk of falling of adult patient as much 97,3% in good category while 2,7% in bad category. Overall, the knowledge of hospitalized nurses in Siloam Dhirga Surya hospital is good. However, if coupled with special training related to the risk of falling, then the level of knowledge of all nurses in the hospital may increase better.
