Abstract

Hand hygiene pada perawat merupakan perilaku yang mendasar dalam upaya mencegah infeksi nosokomial. Hand hygiene mempunyai pengaruh besar terhadap pencegahan terjadinya infeksi nosokomial di rumah sakit dan perawat mempunyai andil besar karena berinteraksi dengan pasien selama 24 jam penuh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kepatuhan perawat dalam pelaksanaan SOP hand hygiene five moment di ruang rawat inap Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan observasi. Responden penelitian adalah seluruh perawat di ruang rawat inap Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik total sampling. Jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah 18 perawat. Pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi langsung menggunakan lembar checklist berdasarkan Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) hand hygiene five moment yang berlaku di Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo. Hasil; Angka tertinggi dari five moment cuci tangan pada perawat di ruang rawat inap Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo terletak pada moment 3 sebanyak (77,78%) dan moment ke 5 sebanyak (88,89%), sedangkan pada moment 1, 2 dan 4 ditemukan perawat belum patuh melakukan moment mencuci tangan / Hand hygiene for nurses is the primary behavior in an effort to prevent nosocomial infections. Hand hygiene has a major influence on the prevention of the occurrence of nosocomial infections in the hospital and the nurses have the great because impact as they are the front line in nursing care. The purpose of this research is to know the description of nurses’ adherence in implementing SOP five moment hand hygiene in inpatient department Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with observational approach. This study uses total sampling of all nurses in inpatient department with total of 18 nurses. Data collection by way of direct observation using a sheet of standard operational procedures based on the checklist (SOP) hand hygiene five moment in Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo. Result; the highest number of hand gygiene five moment at the nurses in inpatient department Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo at moment of 3 (77,78%), and moment 5 as much as (88,89%).While at moment 1, 2 dan 4 found nurses have not adherence to do moment hand hygiene.
