Abstract

Pelayanan kesehatan yang aman merupakan hal yang penting untuk kesejahteraan maupun ketahanan hidup pasien. Dalam hal ini perawat bertanggung jawab untuk menjaga keselamatan pasien, salah satunya adalah mencegah terjadinya risiko jatuh pada pasien dalam masa perawatan di rumah sakit dengan memberikan edukasi baik kepada pasien maupun kepada keluarga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peran perawat sebagai edukator dalam mencegah terjadinya pasien jatuh di ruang rawat inap Siloam Hospitals Kebon Jeruk. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan populasi penelitian 131 perawat. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian yaitu Simple Random sampling sebanyak 99 perawat dan instrument yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang telah di uji validitas dan realibitas. Data di analisis dengan analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran perawat sebagai edukator di katakan baik dalam melakukan perannya dengan hasil 82 perawat (82,8%) / Safe health care is an essential thing to the wellbeing and survival of the patient. Safe health care is essential to the well being and survival of the patient. In this case the nurse is responsible for maintaining the patient's safety, one of them is to prevent the risk of fall in the patient during hospitalization by providing education both to the patient and to the family. The purpose of this study is to identify the role of nurse as an educator in preventing the occurrence of the patient falling in the hospitalization ward of the Siloam Hospital Kebon Jeruk. The method used is quantitative descriptive with 131 study nurses population. The research sampling technique is Simple Random sampling is 99 nurses and instruments used is Questionnaire that has been tested for validity and realibity. The data will be analyzed by univariat analysis. The results showed that the role of nurses as an educator is said to be good in perfoming its role with results 82 nurses (82,8%).
