Abstract

Keselamatan pasien merupakan suatu sistem yang dipakai di rumah sakit yang membuat asuhan keperawatan menjadi lebih aman. Sistem yang dapat mencegah cedera yang diakibatkan kesalahan dalam melakukan tindakan. Ketepatan dalam melakukan identifikasi pasien merupkan komponen pertama dalam sistem keselamatan pasien. Sebagai perawat sangat penting untuk memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang identifikasi pasien sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan oleh Rumah Sakit.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui deskripsi pengetahuan perawat tentang identifikasi pasien yang benar di ruang rawat inap Siloam Hospital Labuan Bajo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang menggunakan teknik total sampling. Populasi yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu 20 perawat di ruang rawat inap Siloam Hospital Labuan Bajo.Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner yang terdapat 24 pertanyaan menggunakan skala Guttman yang terdiri dari pertanyaan positif dan pertanyaan negatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan OktoberNovember 2017. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan perawat tentang identifikasi pasien yang benar di ruang rawat inap Siloam Hospital Labuan Bajo dikategorikan baik, dengan hasil penelitian 19 perawat (95%) dari 20 responden memiliki kategori baik. Rekomendasi penelitian selanjutnya untuk melakukan penelitian yang berhubungan dengan tingkat kepatuhan perawat dalam melaksanakan identifikasi pasien yang benar di ruang rawat inap Siloam Hospital Labuan Bajo / Patient safety is a system used in hospitals that make nursing care becomes more secure. Systems that can prevent injuries arising from errors in performing the action. The accuracy of patient identification in performing is the first component in the system of patient safety. As a nurse is very important to have a good knowledge about the identification of the patient in accordance with the standards set by the hospital. The purpose of this research is to know the description of nursing knowledge about identification patients in the inpatient room Siloam Hospital Labuan Bajo. The methods used in this research is quantitative descriptive with cross sectional approach which uses the technique of total sampling. The population used in this study i.e., 20 nurses in inpatient Siloam Hospital Labuan Bajo. This study uses the instrument in the form of a questionnaire that contained 24 questions using a scale Guttman consisting of positive questions and negative questions. This research was conducted in October-November 2017. The results of this research obtained that level of knowledge of nurses about identifying the right patient in hospitalization Siloam Hospital Labuan Bajo are categorized, with research results 19 nurses (95%) of the respondents have a good category 20. Further research recommendations for conducting research related to the level of compliance of nurses in carrying out the correct patient identification in hospitalization Siloam Hospital Labuan Bajo.
