Abstract
The purposes of this research is to determine the effect of return on equity, debt to equity ratio, and earning per share toward stock price on sub-sector plantation companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period year 2013 to 2017. The independent variables used in this research are return on equity, debt to equity ratio, and earning per share, while the dependent variable is stock price. This research is conducted using quantitative research method with the populations of 15 companies. By purposive sampling method, there are 35 samples obtained from seven companies that passed the criteria in five year period. Data collection method is by using secondary data. The data analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research is obtained from the output in SPSS 25, and it indicates that: return on equity (ROE) and debt to equity ratio (DER) does not have a significant effect toward stock price partially, earning per share (EPS) has a significant effect toward stock price partially, and the independent variables have a significant effect toward stock price simultaneously. Earning per share is an important indicator which shows that company have been operating well and more net income is flowing to stockholders. In sectors that needed high funding such as plantation companies might have a higher tolerance on the used of debt to fund the business which makes debt to equity ratio and return on equity enhanced through debt to become less significant.
