Abstract

Company value can be achieved through improving the company's financial performance. Financial performance is an important factor for investors in making decisions when investing. Ratios that are used to determine company performance are ROA, ROE, and CR. These ratios can provide insight to investors of the company’s future prospect. The main objective of this research is to determine the effect of return on assets, return on equity and current ratio towards firm value on pharmaceutical companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from the year 2013 to 2017. This study is a quantitative descriptive which uses secondary data such as financial statement of the related companies from the IDX. This study uses the purposive sampling method. From the total population of 11 companies, 9 are chosen as the samples in this study, with the total of 45 observation data. This data analysis model in this study is descriptive statistic, classic assumption test, and multiple linear regression model. The results of this research indicate that return on assets has significant influence towards firm value, return on equity has significant influence towards firm value, and current ratio has insignificant influence towards firm value. Simultaneously, the independent variables such as return on assets, return on equity, and current ratio have significant influence towards firm value.
