Abstract

Background : Patient safety is the most important part in preventing danger to patients. Nurses play a major role in achieving patient safety by implementing the existing Standard Operational Procedure (SOP). Objective : To know the level of compliance of nurses in the application of Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) Principle Five True drug delivery in hospital room Siloam Dhirga Surya Hospital. Method : The method used is descriptive quantitative. The sample was 37 nurses with total sampling technique with univariate analysis. Results : Nurse compliance level applied the principle of true drug administration based on True patient, dutiful as many as 20 people (54,5%) and not obedient as much 17 people (45,9%). True medicine, dutiful as many as 32 people (86.4%) and not obedient as many as 5 people (13.5%). True dose, obedient as many as 28 people (75.6%) and disobeyed as many as 9 people (24.3%). Right time, obedient 32 people (86.4%) and not obedient as much as 5 people (13.5%). True way, dutiful as many as 31 people (83,7%) and not obedient counted 6 person (16,2%). Compliance results show that nurses do not obey as many as 24 people (64.9%) while obedient as many as 13 people (35.1%) Recommendations : The researcher expects further research on the factors that influence the nurse's compliance in applying the True Five Principles of drug delivery / Latar belakang :Keselamatan pasien merupakan bagian yang terpenting dalam upaya mencegah bahaya kepada pasien. Perawat berperan besar dalam pencapaian keselamatan pasien dengan melaksanakan Standart Operational Procedure (SOP) yang ada. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui tingkat kepatuhan perawat dalam penerapan Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) prinsip lima benar pemberian obat di ruang rawat inap rumah sakit Siloam Dhirga Surya. Metode : Metode yang digunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel berjumlah 37 perawat dengan teknik Total sampling dengan analisa univariat. Hasil : Tingkat kepatuhan perawat menerapkan prinsip lima benar pemberian obat berdasarkan Benar pasien, patuh sebanyak 20 orang (54,5%) dan tidak patuh sebanyak 17 orang (45,9%). Benar obat, patuh sebanyak 32 orang (86,4%) dan tidak patuh sebanyak 5 orang (13,5%). Benar dosis, patuh sebanyak 28 orang (75,6%) dan tidak patuh sebanyak 9 orang (24,3%). Benar waktu, patuh 32 orang (86,4%) dan tidak patuh sebanyak 5 orang (13,5%). Benar cara, patuh sebanyak 31 orang (83,7%) dan tidak patuh sebanyak 6 orang (16,2%). Hasil kepatuhan secara menyeluruh menunjukkan bahwa perawat tidak patuh sebanyak 24 orang (64,9%) sedangkan patuh sebanyak 13 orang (35,1%) Rekomendasi : Peneliti berharap penelitian selanjutnya tentang faktorfaktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan perawat dalam menerapkan prinsip lima benar pemberian obat.
