Abstract

Background: One important aspek in a research is the instrument. The instrument that can be used to measure nursing students' perceptions regarding clinical learning environments in the community is the CLES + T (Clinical Learning Environment, Supervision and Nurse Teacher) questionnaire. Evaluation of clinical learning environments is needed to create a conducive learning environment (Priyanti & Naharani, 2016). The validity test was carried out on the CLES + T questionnaire to ensure the questionnaire adopted from the clinical environment to the community was suitable for use in the community and produced a valid and reliable questionnaire to measure students' perceptions regarding the clinical learning environment in the community. Research Objectives: Conducting face validity and content validity of the learning environment questionnaire from the clinical environment to the community environment. Research Methods: Finding the face validity and content validity of the CLES + T scale questionnaire instrument. Results: The results of the content validity by 6 experts namely the instrument is feasible to use and becomes a valid questionnaire with the highest value of I-CVI = 0.83-1 and there is only one item that has I-CVI = 0.66 and the overall value or S-CVI = 0, 95 is said to be maximum and the researcher does not need to revise. The result of face validity by 30 respondents is feedback in the form of written or oral suggestions, which is that overall the use of language and fonts is appropriate to use. It was concluded that the CLES + T questionnaire was a valid and reliable questionnaire to evaluate the level of student satisfaction regarding the clinical learning environment in the community. Recommendations: In future research using the CLES + T questionnaire is expected to be a valid questionnaire and can be used in a wider area to measure nursing students' perceptions regarding the community's clinical learning environment.
