Abstract

Nosocomial infection is an infection acquired from the ministry of health, as long the patient is hospitalized, which spread through contact of the hand. Hand hygiene is an effective way to prevent the occurence of nosocomial infections. Based on the observation made, hand hygiene more done by health care personnel such as doctors, medical specialist and also a nurse. Purpose this research is to know the description of the behaviour of hand hygiene five moment in health workers in Siloam Hospital Labuan Bajo. This research is a descriptive, quantitative method of sampling using total sampling. The population in the research is health care personnel such as medical rehab, radiology and laboratory. The instruments used are the questionnaires form of 5 rounds of questions. Data analysis techniques used univariate data analysis. This researches was conducted from October to December 2017. The results of research for medical rehab personal were categorized as non-obedient (<75%) for the 1st moment, 4th moment and 5th moment, radiology did not obey at moment 1st, 2nd and 5th moments (<75%), in the laboratory at the 1st, 2nd,3rd and 4th (<75%). The result showed that health workers were not included in the obidient cathegory for the implementation of the 1st moment until 5th moment (<75%) / Infeksi nosokomial merupakan infeksi yang didapat dari pelayanan kesehatan, selama pasien dirawat di rumah sakit, yang disebarkan melalui kontak tangan. Hand hygiene merupakan cara yang efektif untuk mencegah terjadinya infeksi nosokomial. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan, hand hygiene lebih banyak dilakukan oleh tenaga kesehatan seperti dokter, dokter spesialis dan juga perawat.Tujaun penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku hand hygiene five moment pada tenaga kesehatan di Siloam Hospital Labuan Bajo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif, pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah tenaga kesehatan seperti rehab medik, radiologi dan laboratorium yang berjumlah 20. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner berupa 5 butir pertanyaan. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisa data univariat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari oktober sampai desember 2017. Didaptkan hasil penelitian untuk tenaga kesehatan rehab medik dikategorikan tidak patuh (<75%) untuk momen ke-1 momen ke-2, momen ke-4 dan momen ke-5, radiologi tidak patuh pada momen ke-1, momen ke-2 dan momen ke-5 (<75%) laboratorium pada momen ke-1, ke-2, ke-3 dan ke-4 (<75%). Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa tenaga kesehatan belum termasuk dalam kategori patuh unttuk pelaksanaan momen ke-1 sampai momen ke-5 (<75%).
