Abstract

Nurse’s are health workers who are directly contact with humans. This direct contact can increase the risk of infectious disease infections, so that nurse’s anxiety may increase with the risk of disease transmission. Preliminary data in July 2017 stated that there are six nurse’s who works in isolations room at the Siloam Hospital Kupang said that they were anxiety while contact with patients. The purpose of this study is to determine the levels of nurse’s anxiety about the risk of infectious diseases infection in Siloam Hosptal Kupang. The research design used is quantitative descriptive with accidental sampling method. Population in this research is nurses with 41 sample at Betesda I, Betesda II, and Samaria Inpatients Departement of Siloam Hospital Kupang. Results showed that 70.73% are not anxiety, 17.10% are mild anxiety, 9.75% are moderate anxiety, 2.42% are severe anxiety. Further research can be done to see the factors that affect the nurse's anxiety level against the risk of infectious disease infection in the Hospital / Perawat adalah tenaga kesehatan yang secara langsung kontak dengan manusia. Kontak secara langsung ini dapat meningkatkan resiko infeksi penyakit menular sehingga kecemasan perawat dapat meningkat seiring dengan resiko penularan penyakit. Data awal yang didapatkan pada juli 2017 menyatakan bahwa enam perawat yang berdinas di ruang Isolasi Rumah Sakit Umum Siloam Kupang mengatakan cemas saat kontak dengan pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui tingkat kecemasan perawat tentang resiko infeksi penyakit menular di Rumah Sakit Umum Siloam Kupang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode accidental sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah perawat dengan jumlah sampel 41 orang di ruang rawat inap Betesda I, Betesda II, dan Samaria Rumah Sakit Umum Siloam Kupang. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa 70.73% tidak cemas, 17.10% cemas ringan, 9.75% cemas sedang, 2.42% cemas berat. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat dilakukan untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kecemasan perawat terhadap resiko infeksi penyakit menular di Rumah Sakit.
