Abstract
This study aims to determine the impact of financial ratios on profit growth in property and real estate sub-sector companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2013 to 2017. The independent variables used in this study were Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Net Profit Margin, Gross Profit Margin, and Return on Assets. The dependent variable used in this study was Profit Growth. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of financial ratios on profit growth. The research conducted is quantitative research. The populations on this study were 55 companies listed on IDX during the period 2013-2017. The sampling techniques in this study using purposive sampling with the total sample of 24 companies. Method of data collection is using secondary data. The data analysis is using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of research and analysis by using SPSS 25 indicate that: CR, DER, NPM, GPM, and ROA do not have a significant effect on Profit Growth and do not have a significant effent simultaneously. The management can empower its assets properly and optimally so that it can reduce production costs to maximum, so that the profits obtained are large and will increase. Besides that, it should be able to manage its assets more effectively to support its sales activities. So that the sales will increase and the income earned by the company becomes large and profit growth will be high. Therefore, investors can be interested in making decisions to invest in the company.
