Abstract

Hand hygiene is a term used to wash hands using hand-washing antiseptics, to break the chain of Nosocomial infections in the hospital, the nurse must maintain hygiene by hand washing in five hands-washing moments: before contact with the patient before performing aseptic action after contact with the patient, after exposure to the patient's body fluids and after being in the patient's environment. this research used observation method, using instrument checklist sheet from WHO. The purpose of this research is to know the description of nurse compliance in hand washing in every moment. This research uses sampling total sampling technique. The total sample of this research is 21 respondents. Analysis of this research data using computer software. The results of this study indicate that there is still a lack of nurse compliance to wash hands of five moments, especially at moments that are considered normal and do not have high risk of transmission of infection. The percentage value of each moment is; moment 1 percentage of 63%, at moment 2 equal to 97%, at moment 3 equal to 97%, at moment 4 equal to 98%, at moment 4 equal to 63.1% and at moment 5 equal to 46%. Advice for nurses to further raise awareness of the spread of infection by dutifully will wash hands, especially wash hands in the five moments that have been recommended by WHO / Hand hygiene adalah istilah yang digunakan untuk mencuci tangan menggunakan antiseptik pencuci tangan, untuk memutuskan rantai penyebaran infeksi Nosocomial diRumah Sakit, perawat harus menjaga kebersihan dengan melakukan cuci tangan di lima momen mencuci tangan, yaitu sebelum kontak dengan pasien, sebelum melakukan tindakan aseptik, setelah kontak dengan pasien ,setelah terkena cairan tubuh pasien dan setelah berada di lingkungan pasien. penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, dengan menggunakan instrument lembar checklist dari WHO. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui gambaran kepatuhan perawat dalam mencuci tangan disetiap momen. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Total sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 21 responden. Analisa data penelitian ini menggunakan perangkat lunak computer. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa masih kurangnya kepatuhan perawat terhadap mencuci tangan lima momen, terutama pada momen-momen yang dianggap biasa dan tidak memiliki resiko tinggi penularan infeksi. Nilai persentasi masing-masing momen yaitu; momen 1 persentasenya sebesar 63%, pada momen 2 sebesar 97%, pada momen 3 sebesar 97%, pada momen 4 sebesar 98%, pada momen 4 sebesar 63.1% dan pada momen 5 sebesar 46%. Saran untuk perawat agar lebih meningkatkan keawaspadaan terhadap penyebaran infeksi dengan patuh akan mencuci tangan, terutama mencuci tangan dilima momen yang sudah direkomendasikan oleh WHO.
