Abstract

This research is conducted at PT Inkamex Makmur Medan. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the impact of training towards job performance. The writer found that there is a decline on time attendance, incomplete work deadline, and customer complaint. The theory used in this study relates to the theory of training and job performance. The training indicators used in this study are work autonomy, planned assignments, training and position training. Indicators of job performance are the results of work, knowledge of work, initiative, mental speed, time discipline and absence. In this study, the method used by the author is a quantitative analysis method. The type of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data are collected through interviews and questionnaires distributed to employees. The population and sample are 42 employees. This study uses saturated sampling and testing uses SPSS. The scale used to measure the variable is the Likert scale. Based on the results of testing the impact of training towards job performance, the decline on job performance at PT Inkamex Makmur Medan is caused by lack of training. Determination Coefficient Test Results in table 4.31 obtained R square value of 0.579, which means that 57.9% of the dependent variable of job performance (Y) can be explained by training independent variable (X) while the rest 42.1% is explained by other variables not used in this study
