Abstract

Hospital Associated Infection (HAIs) is still a problem all over the world and in Indonesia. Health workers have a major role in the transmission of this infection. Hand hygiene has a major influence on prevention of nosocomial infections in hospitals and nurses have a big hand because they interact with patients for 24 hours. The purpose of this research is to describe the compliance of handwashing of health officer according to procedure, in Medical Check Up room (MCU) Siloam Lippo Cikarang. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with observation approach. Respondents of this study were all health workers (nurses, doctors, and laboratory personnel) in Medical Check Up (MCU). Sampling in this study using total sampling. Data collection by direct observation using WHO observation sheet that has been used by Siloam Lippo Cikarang to conduct audit. Results; Overall health personnel, moment 1 33.75%, moment 2 21.88%, moment 3 17,81%, moment 4 24,69%, moment 5 19,68%. Conclusion of highest compliance at moment 1 33.75%, and lowest moment of 5% 19.68% / Hospital Associated Infection (HAIs) masih menjadi permasalahan di seluruh dunia maupun di Indonesia. Petugas kesehatan mempunyai peran besar dalam transmisi infeksi ini. Hand hygiene mempunyai pengaruh besar terhadap pencegahan terjadinya infeksi nosokomial di rumah sakit dan perawat mempunyai andil besar karena berinteraksi dengan pasien selama 24 jam penuh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan kepatuhan cuci tangan petugas kesehatan sesuai prosedur, di ruang Medical Check Up (MCU) Siloam Lippo Cikarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan observasi. Responden penelitian ini adalah seluruh petugas kesehatan (perawat,dokter, dan petugas laboratorium) di Medical Check Up (MCU). Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi langsung menggunakan lembar observasi WHO yang telah dipakai Siloam Lippo Cikarang untuk melakukan audit. Hasil; Keseluruhan petugas kesehatan, moment 1 33,75%, moment 2 21,88%, moment 3 17,81%, moment 4 24,69%, moment 5 19,68%. Kesimpulan kepatuhan tertinggi pada moment 1 33,75%, dan kepatuhan terendah moment 5 19,68%.
