Abstract

The patient's perception is an impression or response displayed by the patient. Therapeutic communication is the interpersonal relationship between nurses and patients aimed at healing and recovery of patients. The purpose of this study is to analyze the patient's perception of nurse's therapeutic communication at Sinai Kiri Siloam Hospitals Kebon Jeruk. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The population in this study were patients treated at Sinai Kiri Siloam Hospitals Kebon Jeruk with an average of 192 respondents from December 2016 - May 2017, with a sample of 130 respondents. Measuring tool of this study using the questionnaire Abraham (2015) who have undergone validity and reliability tests, with data processing techniques using computerized program. The analysis of this study used univariate analysis. The result of this study found that patients have a good perception with a percentage of 65,4% with frequency as many as 86 respondents to therapeutic communication nurse. In this study the patient's perception of the nurse's therapeutic communication in good category, so the researcher suggested to the nursing division of Siloam Hospitals Kebon Jeruk to improve the perception of the patient by doing therapeutic communication properly and correctly / Persepsi pasien merupakan suatu kesan atau tanggapan yang ditampilkan oleh pasien. Komunikasi terapeutik adalah hubungan interpesonal antara perawat dan pasien yang bertujuan untuk penyembuhan dan pemulihan pasien. penelitian ini menganalisis persepsi pasien terhadap komunikasi terapeutik perawat di Sinai Kiri Siloam Hospitals Kebon Jeruk. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien yang dirawat di Sinai Kiri Siloam Hospitals Kebon Jeruk dengan rata-rata 192 responden dari bulan Desember 2016 – Mei 2017, dengan target sampel 130 responden. Alat ukur penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner Abraham (2015) yang telah menjalani uji validitas dan reliabilitas, dengan teknik pengolahan data menggunakan program komputerisasi. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis univariat. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa pasien memiliki persepsi yang baik dengan presentase 65,4% dengan frekuensi sebanyak 86 responden terhadap komunikasi terapeutik perawat. Dalam penelitian ini persepsi pasien terhadap komunikasi terapeutik perawat dalam kategori baik, sehingga peneliti menyarankan kepada divisi keperawatan Siloam Hospitals Kebon Jeruk untuk meningkatkan persepsi pasien dengan cara melakukan komunikasi terapeutik dengan baik dan benar.
