Abstract

Sektor pariwisata merupakan salah satu sumber devisa negara. Indonesia sendiri merupakan negara archipelago terluas dan memiliki potensi besar pada pariwisatanya yang tersebar dari sabang hingga merauke. Sayangnya, dari sekian banyaknya tempat wisata di Indonesia, pariwisata Indonesia sendiri masih sangat terpusat khususnya Jawa dan Bali saja. Oleh karena itu, isu ini diangkat kedalam video promosi naratif dengan bentuk film animasi dua dimensi dengan tujuan mampu mempromosikan pariwisata Berau sebagai salah satu tempat pariwisata yang ingin diperkenalkan kepada masyarakat luas. Metode perancangan yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dan studi wawancara. Adapun data-data yang didapat dari studi pustaka berasal dari jurnal, artikel, dan ebook yang berkaitan dengan topik yang dibahas. Juga menggunakan teori-teori yang ikut mendukung dan berkaitan secara visual dari segi warna, komposisi, warna, dan animasi dalam video promosi naratif “Lana”. Sedangkan, studi wawancara mengenai destinasi prioritas Berau, keunikan, informasi lainnya dilakukan dengan dua narasumber yang langsung berhubungan dengan pariwisata Berau yakni Kepala Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Berau dan Duta Wisata Berau. Hasil dari proyek akhir ini adalah sebuah video promosi naratif dalam bentuk film animasi dua dimensi yang mana proses produksi dilakukan dengan mencari kata kunci sebagai patokan visual dan bagaimana penerapannya dalam video promosi ini. Kata kunci visual yang didapat untuk merepresentasikan video promosi ini adalah “Kebahagiaan” dan “Alam” / The tourism sector is a source of foreign exchange. Indonesia itself is the largest archipelago country and has great potential for tourism which is spread from Sabang to Merauke. Unfortunately, from those many tourist attractions in Indonesia, Indonesian tourism itself is still very centralized, especially Java and Bali. Therefore, this issue is raised in a narrative promotional video in the form of a two-dimensional animated film with the aim of being able to promote Berau tourism as one of the tourist attractions that wants to be introduced to the wider community. The design method used is literature study and interview study. The data obtained from the literature study comes from journals, articles and ebooks related to the topics discussed. Also uses theories that support and visually related in terms of color, composition, color and animation in the narrative promotional video "Lana". Meanwhile, an interview study regarding Berau's priority destinations, uniqueness, and other information was conducted with two sources who are directly related to Berau tourism, namely the Head of the Berau Culture and Tourism Office and the Berau Tourism Ambassador. The result of this final project is a narrative promotional video in the form of a two-dimensional animated film where the production process is carried out by searching for keywords as visual benchmarks and how they are applied in this promotional video. The visual keywords that were obtained to represent this promotional video were "Kebahagiaan" and “Alam".
