Abstract

Film merupakan salah satu bentuk dari seni yang memiliki kemampuan untuk membawa realitas kehidupan ke dalam sebuah rekaman yang dapat ditonton bersama-sama. Dalam tugas akhir ini berisi teori, laporan dan penerapan dari pembuatan film pendek "Nambel Ban" dari sudut pandang penulis selaku sutradara. Film "Nambel Ban" berceritakan mengenai kelajangan dari sudut pandang budaya Jawa dan Batak yang mengambil latar waktu di tahun awal 2000. Riset yang dilakukan dalam tahap pembuatan film "Nambel Ban" adalah wawancara, membaca karya ilmiah dan artikel serta film yang digunakan sebagai referensi visual. Proses perancangan film "Nambel Ban" dibagi menjadi beberapa tahap yaitu proses pra produksi, produksi dan pasca produksi. Melalui film "Nambel Ban" penulis berharap berkurangnya diskriminasi terhadap para lajang serta mengingatkan audiens untuk tetap melestarikan budaya Indonesia sebagai negara multikultural. / Films are a form of art that has the ability to bring the realities of life into a record that can be watched together. This final project contains the theory, reports, and application of the making of the short film "Nambel Ban" from the point of view of the writer as the director. The film "Nambel Ban" tells the story of singleness from the point of view of Javanese and Batak culture which is set in the early 2000s. Research conducted in the making of the film "Nambel Ban" includes interviews, reading scientific works and articles as well as films that are used as visual references. The process of designing the "Nambel Ban" film is divided into several stages, namely the pre-production, production, and post-production processes. Through the film "Nambel Ban", the writer hopes that it will reduce the discrimination against single people and remind the audience to continue to preserve Indonesian culture as a multicultural country.
