Abstract

PT. Maxiair Indosurya merupakan salah satu penyedia jasa kontraktor dengan layanan yang paling diminati yaitu Heating and Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installation, perusahaan ini didirikan pada tanggal 17 Januari 2007. Namun ada beberapa permasalahan yang terdapat pada PT. Maxiair Indosurya diantaranya meliputi, kurang kuatnya identitas logo yang dibangun sehingga informasi yang diberikan terbatas, ketidak konsistenan pada pengaplikasian item- item perusahaan, penggunaan typography yang tidak konsisten, layout yang masih belum dikomposisikan dengan baik, keseimbangan yang belum tercapai pada layout, hirarki, serta banyak penggunaan elemen-elemen desain yang tidak berhubungan dengan identitas yang ingin dibangun. Maka dari itu diperlukannya perancangan ulang identitas visual yang dapat membangun citra visual yang lebih sesuai dengan karakteristik perusahaan tersebut, serta diaplikasikannya kedalam beberapa item seperti profil perusahaan, kartu nama, kop surat, seragam staff, kartu id, tanda, dan juga tampilan web. Proses perancangan ulang identitas visual PT. Maxiair Indosurya meliputi identifikasi permasalahan, pengumpulan data, studi pustaka, wawancara, observasi, analisa data, penentuan kata kunci, brainstorming, studi visual, proses perancangan, produksi, dan hasil akhir. Dengan adanya perancangan visual ini diharapkan dapat membantu PT. Maxiair Indosurya menjadi perusahaan yang lebih baik lagi agar dapat bersaing dengan kompetitor. / PT. Maxiair Indosurya is one of the contractor service providers with the most popular service, namely the Installation of Heating and Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), the company was founded on January 17, 2007. However, there are several problems that exist in PT. Maxiair Indosurya include, the lack of a strong logo identity that is built so that the information provided is limited, inconsistency in the application of company items, inconsistent use of typography, layouts that are still not well composed, balance that has not been achieved in layout, hierarchy, and a lot of use of design elements that are not related to the identity to be built. Therefore, it is necessary to redesign an identity that can build a visual image that is more in line with the characteristics of the company, and applied it to several items such as company profiles, business cards, letterhead, staff uniforms, id cards, signs, and also web displays. Redesign the visual identity of PT. Maxiair Indosurya are knows the problem, data collection, literature study, observation, data analysis, keyword interview, brainstorming, visual study, design process, production, and final result. With this visual design is expected to help PT. Maxiair Indosurya to be even better in order to compete with competitors.
