Abstract

Teknologi terus berkembang dengan pesat dari dulu hingga sekarang. Hal ini mengakibatkan berbagai jenis industry perlu beradaptasi dengan kemajuan teknologi demi memenuhi permintaan masyarakat. Salah satunya adalah industri permainan papan atau board game yang kini banyak diadaptasi menjadi permainan digital agar mudah dimainkan dimana saja dan kapan saja. Agar dapat terus eksis dan bersaing di tengah maraknya game digital, maka penulis mengadaptasi board game lokal yang bernama “Acaraki: The Java Herbalist”. Permainan “Acaraki: The Java Herbalist” mengangkat tema kebudayaan jamu pada masa kerajaan Majapahit. Proses adaptasi permainan ini menjadi mobile game dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data berupa data pustaka, wawancara, dan uji coba permainan. Hasil data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dan menjadi basis bagi perancangan. Selain mengadaptasi menjadi game digital, perancangan ini dilakukan untuk menjawab berbagai permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam permainan. Dari hasil perancangan ini, dapat dilihat bahwa board game “Acaraki: The Java Herbalist” berpotensi dan layak untuk diangkat menjadi mobile game. Permainannya yang asyik dan tambahan fitur-fitur khusus dapat membuatnya mampu bersaing dengan mobile game lainnya. Tema kebudayaan dan sejarah Majapahit yang diangkat membuatnya menjadi semakin unik dan menarik./Technology continues to develop rapidly from the past until now. This has resulted in various types of industries needing to adapt to technological advances in order to meet people's demands. One of them is the board game industry, which is now widely adapted into digital games to make it easy to play anywhere and anytime. In order to continue to exist and compete in the midst of the rise of digital games, the author adapted a local board game called "Acaraki: The Java Herbalist". The game "Acaraki: The Java Herbalist" takes the theme of jamu culture during the Majapahit kingdom. The process of adapting this game into a mobile game is carried out by collecting data in the form of library data, interviews, and game trials. The results of the data are then analyzed and become the basis for the design. In addition to adapting it into a digital game, this design is carried out to answer various problems found in the game. From the results of this design, it can be seen that the board game "Acaraki: The Java Herbalist" has the potential and deserves to be appointed as a mobile game. Its fun games and the addition of special features can make it able to compete with other mobile games. The theme of Majapahit culture and history made it more unique and interesting.
